Wednesday - Week X

Okay, although it was only 45 degrees today and therefore not too cold, it was overcast and dreary and therefore not a perfect day here in Galway.

I met with my wonderful Spanish students today and we spent the whole 3 hours working on telling stories about love and dating. Again we only go through about 4 or 5 stories because we naturally went off-track and talked about a million other things that came up during the story telling. I know they are enjoying themselves but I do suppose I should try harder to keep some semblance of a class structure and not this free-for-all learning environment. Oh well, it is what it is.

I met with Halil this afternoon and we had another productive 3 hours of working on where, when, why, and who questions. I also found him a new tutor for when I leave. Her name is Becky and she works a the cafe where we always have our lessons. Becky is very nice and she finished the same TEFL class I did but about two months earlier than me. I know Halil is very excited to be able to continue with his lessons.

I met mom and Jean Marie at the Budding Cafe and then we were off to the gym where mom and I enjoyed a fun water aerobics class.

I took some pictures of the Christmas decorations in town and on the house next to Jean Marie's. It's so festive and fun this time of year.
