Day Off - Saturday (Week IV)

I woke up to beautiful sunshine and a very cool day. It rained off and on but not so much that it bothered me. I think having the sunshine, even periodically making an appearance, made all the difference.

It was a relaxing day. Jean Marie picked me up at 8:50am to head to the gym where she had an hour long free training session and I got to play in the water. Basically I played in the warm jacuzzi because I just can't seem to get warm lately and that's about the only place I don't feel cold.

She took me to lunch at a nice Italian place down the road from the gym and her sister-in-law Caroline joined us afterwords for coffee. We caught up on all that has been going on for her and the kids since I last saw her two years ago.

Since it was still early we went to the movies to see Due Date which was surprisingly serious. I really thought it would have been much funnier but none the less we did enjoy it. But on our way back into town we did see another rainbow. You know how much I love to see rainbows so I got very excited and tried my best to get a good picture to share with you all but alas this is the best I could do but if you look very, very closely you might just be able to see it.

As you can tell the day was pretty much about relaxing and having a little fun. We met Frank and Ellen at the Budding Cafe and they took us to Massimo's Pub, interestingly enough I had just been there the night before with my classmates. It was nice to just chat over a veggie pizza and something warm to drink.

Now I'm home just getting a few things done before I head off to bed. I think I really needed a day like this when I was constantly reading something, writing something or trying to complete something.
