Class - Week V

Another sunny morning so my spirits were lifted and it was another beautiful walk to school. It's incredible what a little sunshine will do to start the day off on a happy note.

I got a lot accomplished at the school and only have a little bit more to do to make tomorrow's assignment deadline. We have to hand in all our completed portfolio's including our class notes, 7 teacher practice materials (including all our lesson plans and handouts,) 6 module assignments, 7 self evalutaions, 5 peer evaluations as well as a diary if we kept one. I'm submitting my blog as my diary since it's a pretty good record of how I was feeling on a daily basis.

I'm excited to hand it all in and have it over with but at the same time I'm a little sad it's just about finished. I really miss teaching each week and I've bumped into some of my students around town and I know they are missing class as well. They will begin again next Thursday with a different group of teacher trainees and I'm s sure they'll benefit just as much from their tutelage.

I'm off to the gym later with Jean Marie and Ellen and very much looking forward to it. It has turned rainy in just the last hour or so as I've sat in classroom number 10 but that's to be expected in this country. A sunny morning in no way guarantees a sunny afternoon.
