What a gorgeous day and I love to start the morning out with sunshine it just puts the whole day off to a good start. I took a few pictures of some of my new favorite buildings on my way to work. It’s just so lovely in this neighborhood.
Class was more grammar, and more grammar and more grammar. It’s hard to believe any of use speak this language properly considering most of us never think about a sentence structure before we utter even one word and yet there are so many rules and then exceptions to those same rules that it would seem every utterance should require great thought.
Anyway we survived and this afternoon Louis and Maura did the teacher practice three and they were great. Lots of laughs and Jacob, our student from Poland, did not disappoint. He had lots of fun things to say and even flirted shamelessly with Maggie from Germany. When asked to change partners for an exercise he was most disappointed to leave Maggie and was not shy in letting us know exactly how he felt. Our students are really just a pleasure. I have my teacher practice 3 tomorrow and am looking forward to it.
I met Ellen at the Budding café and she and I walked up to the gym together as Jean Marie is still recovering from her cold. I fortunately was at the gym at the perfect time for water aerobics and it was lots of fun with about 13 women in class. Our teacher, Orla was not overly friendly but very good at what she does. I did chuckle a few times when we were doing strength training with the noodle because Orla refers to the noodle as a wobble and we wobbled our way to good health for about 30 minutes.

I came home to do homework and now it’s off to bed.
